Winter Winners For YOUR Skin
Part 2 - Winter
It’s cold outside and cold weather can lead to the skin being very dry - when your skin feels tight, is flaking, and has lost its glow. Acne can be triggered as well, as too much dryness can cause an overproduction of oil, which clogs the pores and leads to breakouts.
Try these easy tips:
Use a soothing cleanser that’s hydrating
Try to exfoliate a few times per week
Protect your skin with a soothing cream like our Casey Skin Sea Soother Cream and always apply an spf.
Taking care of your well being is also important in winter.
There are fewer daylight hours which can make the days seem shorter and when it’s cold outside it’s tempting to stay inside more and reduce or even stop activities. This form of “hibernation” can cause a change in your mood, with some suffering from seasonal affective disorder (SAD).
Try these easy tips:
Try and spend time outside (just 5 minutes spent going for a walk or spending time in a park or garden will revitalise you)
Exercise such as brisk walking, jogging, or a personal favourite, cycling (can be great for making you feel less sluggish, putting you in a happier mood, and increasing energy levels).
Happy winter
